Micropaleontology is published in six issues per year, including theme issues and monographs. The journal publishes research in systematics, morphology, biology and ecology of animal, plant, and protist microfossils and their living representatives. The companion Stratigraphy publishes geological applications of micropaleontology, togather with research in other stratigraphic subdisciplines.

Subscription for 2010: Micropaleontology (v. 56) and Stratigraphy (v. 7) are combined with a total of 10 issues. Subscriptions are on a volume/year basis, with all issues included. Members of earth science societies may subscribe on an individual basis at half price. Printed copies are $10 extra per issue, to cover printing and mailing. Subscriptions from members of NAMS (North Americann Micropaleontological Section of SEPM) include the annual membership fee.

Internet Access: The current issue is available on a read-only basis in open public access. Subscribers to the journals may view and download articles from all issues back to vol. 1 no. 1, using the search field for author and keyword at the top of the page.

Out of print back issues: Recent back issues that have gone out of print are available as single PDF files of the complete contents, free of charge. These are taken directly from the files sent to press, and if printed on both sides of good quality paper will be indistinguishable from the original pages. Please allow time for the files to download, after clicking on the desired issue.

Authors should prepare manuscripts with careful attention to the suggestions to authors, and submit them as electronic documents via the MicroMan online document manager. The name and email address of pre-reviewers of the author's choice must accompany submissions; if desired, an optional pre-review form for the author's use can be downloaded here, or from the "Suggestions" site.

Permissions and use: Downloaded material becomes the property of the subscriber, but online access to past issues is available only with a current subscription. Copying is permitted for research and teaching, and authors are free to distribute PDF copies of their own work. No license is required by the Press.
