ABSTRACT: The holotype of Sigmoilopsis ottnangensis Cicha, Ctyroka and Zapletalová 1973 cannot be identified with certainty from the collection of specimens used in the original species description. Following the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, the specimens should be considered syntypes. We herein designate a lectotype and paralectotypes for Sigmoilopsis ottnangensis from the original material to ensure taxonomic stability.
