Microfaunal analysis of Cretaceous and Paleogene sediments collected over several decades from Western Siberia has illuminated the diversity, stratigraphic distribution, and paleoecological significance of the rare low trochospiral benthic foraminiferal genus Bagginoides. Here, we describe two new species B. yamalensis n.sp. and B. tibeisalinella n.sp.
